That's what happens when you repeatedly bend over backwards so you'll appear "fair and balanced" to the corporate sponsors signing their paychecks.<BR/><BR/>So why be surprised that the "house negroes" who appear on their programs are shallow, ill-informed, and non-threatening? No wonder Tavis Smiley got the hell out of there.<BR/><BR/>When it comes to political commentary, I listen to [insert shameless plug here] WPKN, a progressive radio that supports itself, so it doesn't need to chase fat cat dollars.<BR/><BR/>But NPR?
